Liquidise the garlic.
Put all ingredients into a big saucepan and fill with water, bring to the boil and boil for 30 minutes at simmer.
Leave to cool, strain and put in jars with lid on.
This can be frictioned into the dogs skin at times of soreness, moulting etc.
Notes:
Elderberry leaves are great for soothing eczema and sore skin, rosemary is a natural insecticide and wormwood makes the skin bitter for fleas or other mites and eucalyptus makes it smell a bit better!! Sage is beneficial for the skin too. In fact sage helps with hair growth and will also harshen the coats! The house will smell like a take-away restaurant but you find the flies dont come in!!
